I'm a born and raised So Cal girl who doesn't want to live anywhere else.  I'm the budget boss in my household and my husband is the chef.  I like to save money but I also love to get what I want.  I will get my splurge on but even as a teenager saving money, being debt free and living within my means has always been my priority.

I work in an office and I work out.  I love sunny days, horror movies, traveling, reading and writing.  I'm goofy, frugal and so anal that I annoy even myself sometimes.  I'm scared of train tracks, spiders, and anything creepy crawly.  When I watch movies I put the English subtitles on so I won't miss a thing.  I am a perfectionist who is far from perfect and I am always my own worst critic.  I'm that quiet girl in the corner silently observing but I'm also the girl laughing out loud with a glass of wine in her hand at happy hour.  I have issues that may never go away,  dreams that may never come true and a love for life I am happily exploring.  My favorite sport in the whole wide world is Gymnastics.  It is that rare combination of beauty, courage, strength, and grace....everything I've always wanted to be.

I have my best friend from middle school to thank for setting us up on a blind date. When I ran through the rain and jumped into his silver SUV to meet him for the first time, I never guessed we'd end up married. We met downtown for that first date on March 15, 2008, I fell in love with him at Souplantation about two weeks later (the day after my birthday), and he's had my heart ever since.  Our wedding day was so much fun, and one of the happiest days of my life. 

I blog about life, love, the pursuit of happiness, reality TV, exercise, food, money, shopping and anything else that pops into my head.  This place is a random mish mash of things.  Like me.  Because everybody has a story, and this is mine. I've been keeping diaries and journals since I was 9 so it was only a matter of time before I started a blog.  I don't blog on a specific schedule, and I don't concern myself too much with Search Engine Optimization.  I blog because I love to write.  Always have, always will.
